HeadMax® Suction Head Clarifier for ACC Beef Reduces Civil Construction Costs
ACC Beef operate a comprehensive wastewater treatment plant that was recently upgraded by Hydroflux Industrial to increase its capacity.
The upgrade included the installation of a new primary DAF system (Hydroflux HyDAF), HUBER QPRESS Screw Press and a new secondary clarifier. A Hydroflux Epco HeadMax® Clarifier was selected for the process due to the fact the clarifier can be constructed with a flat floor.
Sludge is hydraulically transferred through the HeadMax® mechanism to the central sludge hopper and out of the clarifier via the cast in sludge pipework.

- Flat floor construction of the clarifier saves on civil costs
- Full suspended system meaning there is no contact with the floor, hence minimal wear
- Fully adjustable rubber squeegees
- All stainless steel construction for wetted parts
